Vietnam has officially locked in its 45-day visa-free entry for citizens of 12 qualifying countries through December 31, 2028. This is no longer a trial policy that a long-term commitment to making your travel planning stress-free.
If you hold a passport from one of these countries, you can land in Vietnam and stay for up to 6 weeks with no fees, no paperwork, and no embassy visits:

Travel Tip: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date, and you should have a return or onward ticket handy.
New conditional visa exemption
Starting recently, Vietnam has introduced a temporary visa exemption for three high-income European markets: Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland.
However, your travel must be booked through a licensed Vietnamese tour operator.
This experimental policy is designed to boost luxury group tourism. If this pilot program succeeds, unconditional visa-free access will likely follow suit.
