Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) is the main international gateway to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Arrival Hall (Ground Floor & 1st Floor)

1st Floor (1F) – Upper level
- The long corridor (Top): The walking route directly after leaving the aircraft gates.
- The VISA / Landing visa counter: Located right in the center of this corridor, just before the escalator leading downstairs.
- The immigration desks: Located right behind the Visa counter area where passports are verified.
Ground floor (GF) – Lower level
- Baggage claim carousels: Features 8 parallel luggage belts numbered from 1-8.
- Customs office & Screening: Located in the center, directly behind luggage belts 4 and 5.
- Public arrival hall exits: After clearing customs, travelers emerge into the public hall via two main exit gates: A1 (Right side) or A2 (Left side).
- The currency exchange & ATM strip: Positioned directly along the divider wall between the customs exit and the public hall.
- Outdoor transport pick-up points (Bottom numbers 1-15):
- Pillars 1 to 3 (Far Right): Designated Taxi pick-up zone.
- Pillars 13 to 15 (Far Left): Designated Bus pick-up zone.
Departure Hall (2nd Floor & 3rd Floor)

2nd Floor (2F) – Public check-in area
- Main entrances: Travelers enter the hall via gate D1 (left-center) or gate D2 (right-center).
- Check-in rows (A to L): 6 double-sided island counters lined up from left to right:
- Left side: Rows A/B, C/D
- Center (Vietnam Airlines): Rows E/F, G/H
- Right side: Rows I/J, K/L
- Central security check: Located exactly in the center of the floor, right behind check-in rows E/F and G/H.
1st Floor & Ground Floor – Airside Gates
Once through security, travelers move to the boarding gate areas:
- Upper boarding gates (1F): Gates 08 & 09 (far left wing), and gates 15 to 21 and 26 & 27 lined up along the top wall.
- Lower boarding gates (GF): If boarding via bus, travelers head down to the lower level. Gates 10 to 14 are on the left wing; Gates 22 to 25 are on the right wing.
- Lounges:
- Rose Lounge: Far left wing on 1F.
- Orchid Lounge & Lotus Lounge 2: Located near the center-left on 1F.
- Le Saigonnais & Lotus Lounge (3F – Orange Zone): Located up on the 3rd Floor, featuring dedicated dining, spa, and restroom facilities.
